hi beloved, welcome!

I am Chelsea Brooke. A lover. Curator. Sister. Friend. Auntie. Daughter. Preacher. Professor. Coach. Enneagram Lover. Reader. Worshipper. Ritualist. Nerd…Just to name a few.

At my core, I curate opportunities for individuals and groups to encounter their most beloved self through consulting, coaching and speaking. I want people to walk through their lives experiencing and practicing the most love possible. I believe that we each have a voice and something to contribute to this world, and it is my pleasure to help people hone that voice through different tools and move into the spaces they feel most called.

Whether you are looking for someone to help you with your sermon preparation, to help you grow confidence in public speaking, a coach to help you think through next steps broadly or in a specific area of your life, a speaker at your next event, a preacher for your service, or someone to help you host and create a retreat, my goal remains the same. I aim to curate space where we encounter the God above, God within, and God around us and to leave more whole, well, and aligned than how we came in.

A little more about me! I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.   I am a proud alum of  Elon University (B.A. in Political Science 2012),  Wake Forest University School of Divinity  (M.Div 2015) and  Vanderbilt University (PhD 2021).

I am currently the Assistant Professor of African American Preaching, Sacred Rhetoric and Black Practical Theology at Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, OK. My research focuses on imagining within and beyond normative understanding of preaching/proclamation through the expansive practices of historical Black women.

I love to create space for people to play, wonder, and step into the courageous waters of growth. I sincerely hope that folks are always called back into themselves through the practice of love in my work. My motto is "live to love and love to live each day” and I am excited to continue my journey of cultivating and engaging curiosity in all that I pursue. I can’t wait to connect with you!
